Type of Vehicles Exhibit in Tokyo Motor Show:

The Tokyo Motor Show is divided into two separate shows which alternate each year: 'Passenger Cars & Motorcycles' and 'Commercial Vehicles'. The Tokyo Motor Show was based around the theme 'Eye To The Future: Changing Vehicles For The Earth'. The Tokyo Motor Show (Commercial Vehicles) has been scheduled to run for five days. A total of 150 companies/organizations from ten countries will gather at Tokyo Big Sight for this comprehensive show that includes passenger cars, commercial vehicles, motorcycles, vehicle bodies, partsmachinery and tools, as well as automobile-related services.

Passenger Vehicles:

Passenger vehicles comprise the bulk of the show with many leading manufacturers exhibiting their latest models. You can get inside, touch and explore many of the cars on display. Several makers, especially domestic ones, showcase concept vehicles, showing off their cutting-edge technologies.

Commercial Vehicles:

The commercial vehicles section includes top makers of buses, trucks and vans. You can climb inside many of the vehicles and learn about the newest features and accessories that allow them to do their jobs more easily and safely. You can also see various concept models representing the latest technology in commercial vehicles. The first commercial vehicle show was held in 2000 under the name 34th Tokyo Motor Show

following the 1999 separation of the exhibition into a passenger car/motorcycle and a commercial vehicle show. This program proved very popular at the show and provides visitors with a chance to test ride 24 vehicles ranging from heavy-duty trucks, trailers, buses, and vans to vehicles for the handicapped.

Motorcycles:

Major motorcycle makers such as Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki and Suzuki show their latest and greatest models, many of which you can get on. Many makers display their entire model line, and you can also see racing motorcycles and the latest concept models. The Tokyo Motor Show is dominated by vehicles that roll on 4 wheels, but many Japanese car companies such as Honda & Suzuki also produce amazing motorcycles.

Bikes from Yamaha, Kawasaki and others were also on display at the motor show. Take a quick look at some cool machinery of the two-wheeled (and occasionally three-wheeled) variety at the 2018 Tokyo Motor Show.
