Countries with major demand for electric vehicles

During 19th century, when electricity was among the most preferred methods for automobile propulsion, electric vehicles came in to existence. EVs also known as electric drive vehicle generally uses one or more electric motors for propulsion. Increasing air pollution and carbon emissions, along with shortage of energy are the reasons that are making electric vehicles more popular among people nowadays.

Electric cars are back again

Electric cars are one such vehicle that uses electricity instead of fuels as a source of power. An electric car is car as we all know are driven by one or more electric motor, using electrical energy stored in batteries or another energy storage device. Automakers across the world are busy inventing new and better models of electric cars and vehicles for the future.

Finding the most environmental friendly cars

Top automakers across the world are busy in manufacturing improved models of car using alternative fuel to reduce greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. Eco friendly cars like flex fuel models, hybrid electric and electric cars, hydrogen vehicles and solar should take the roads commercially to save the Earth. Our world is already blessed with Hybrid and Electric cars that contribute a lot in reduction of environmental pollution, less fuel consumption and making the world a better place to live in.

Japanese Manufacturers of Electric Vehicles

Japan played an important role in the Global Automobile Industry, since they began building their first automobiles in 1910s. Japan Automobile Industry grew very fast and soon became one of the most prominent and largest industries in the world. Japan has been in the top three countries with most cars manufactured since 1960s. The automotive industry in Japan rapidly increased from the 1970s to the 1990s, and overtook U.S. as the production leader with up to 13 million cars per year manufactured and exported.

Lithium-ion Battery – “key to the success of Electric Vehicles”

Lithium-ion batteries have higher energy densities than lead-acid batteries or nickel-metal hydride batteries. Due to a high energy density the battery can store more electricity in the same size cell, which means that with the same amount of electricity it is possible to make the battery smaller. The electrodes of a Lithium-ion battery are made of lightweight lithium and carbon. Lithium is also a highly reactive element, and can store a lot of energy in its atomic bonds.

Popular Japanese models of Electric cars

Japan is a popular name when it comes to automobiles. In every aspect of automobiles Japanese automakers have proved their mettle. Likewise, in case of electric vehicles also, Japan is a true leader. Many Japanese brands have already developed electric vehicles and others are also investing in this sector. Electric cars are completely pure cars as they do not burn gasoline or any other petroleum type to run the vehicle.

Why buy electric Cars?

There were days when the idea of using electric motors an alternate for fuel seems impossible, but today electric motors significantly replaces standard fuel. Electric cars are increasingly becoming very popular. It’s the concern of people for the environment, fuel conservation that they are switching towards electric vehicles. Electric cars may be somewhat expensive than conventional cars, but for the long run electric cars hold over conventional ones.
