The birth of the traffic safety association:

Especially automobiles imported in the Meiji 30's developed from Taisho to Showa era, people came to receive direct and indirect benefits, but on the other hand, traffic accidents began to gradually increase.
In August 1982, the automobile enforcement order was completely revised, detailed rules were established regarding the driver's licensing system, structural equipment of the automobile, driver's compliance matters, and the prevention of traffic accidents. Reflecting such traffic conditions and public opinion, the establishment of the "Traffic Safety Association", which is a member of local railway carriers, owners of private cars, drivers, etc., was promoted throughout the country.
